A short talk, then your hands on the keyboard. That is the whole method.

Live labs

Every topic ends with you running it yourself.

Online + Offline

Same labs, live on video or in the room.

DevOps Foundations

The full path for beginners and developers. One app, taken from a laptop to a pipeline.

  • Linux shell, files and permissions
  • Git: branches, merges, pull requests
  • Docker: images, containers, volumes
  • CI pipeline that builds and tests
  • Intro to Kubernetes
  • Intro to Terraform

AWS DevOps

Cloud work from an account you set up properly. Access through roles, a network you can explain, a server behind a load balancer.

  • AWS account, IAM users, groups and roles
  • EC2, key pairs and security groups
  • S3 for storage and artefacts
  • VPC: public and private subnets, routing
  • Load balancing and scaling basics
  • CloudWatch logs and alarms

Tools: AWS, IAM, EC2, S3, VPC

Docker and Kubernetes

Containers from the Dockerfile up, then running them on a cluster and changing them safely.

  • Images and choosing the right base image
  • Dockerfile practice and small images
  • Container networking: bridge, ports, user networks
  • Volumes and data that survives a restart
  • Docker Compose for small stacks
  • Kubernetes pods, deployments and services

Tools: Docker, Docker Compose, kubectl, Kubernetes (local cluster)

Terraform and Infrastructure as Code

Describe the infrastructure in files, plan the change, then apply it. Includes the parts that cause trouble in teams.

  • What infrastructure as code is
  • Providers, resources, variables and outputs
  • The plan and apply workflow
  • State, remote state and locking
  • Modules you can reuse
  • Running Terraform from a pipeline

Tools: Terraform, AWS, Git, CI pipeline

CI/CD with Jenkins and GitHub Actions

Pipelines that run on every commit. You build one, break it, and learn to read its logs fast.

  • Pipeline stages: build, test, package, deploy
  • Jenkins pipelines as code
  • GitHub Actions workflows and runners
  • Build artefacts and caching
  • Secrets and environments
  • Approvals before a deploy
BuildTestPackageDeployevery push runs the pipeline
Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Git

Git and Linux

The base layer for everything else. Comfort on the command line and a Git history that tells the truth.

  • Linux commands, files and permissions
  • Users, processes and services
  • Logs and reading them
  • Shell script basics
  • Commits, branches and merges
  • Resolving conflicts

How a class works

Short talk, then your hands on it.

The batch moves at the pace of the slowest person in the room, not the fastest. Every topic follows the same rhythm.

Exact timesShown on each batch card

Times and days are per batch. Ask us if you need a different slot.

  1. 115 minA short explanation

Why this tool exists and the problem it solves.

  2. 260 minThe same steps on your machine

Every command you see on screen, you run yourself.

  3. 320 minBreak it on purpose

We change one thing and you learn to read the error.

  4. 4Home labKeep it

The lab goes into a repo you own, so you have something to show.

Projects you will build

Labs you finish, not slides you skim.

Real tools on your own machine or cloud account, from the first week.

04

A clean team history

Branches, pull requests and merges on a repo you own.

These are the kinds of projects in our courses. Exact scope is set with the batch, and the syllabus may be tailored.

Who it is for

Three kinds of learners fit well.

Not sure where you fit? Tell us your level and we will suggest a starting point.

01

Students and freshers

Start with Git and Linux, then move into the full DevOps path at your own pace.

02

Developers

Ship and run your own code. Containers, pipelines and cloud without the guesswork.

03

Admins and IT staff

Move from clicking in consoles to automation, infrastructure as code and clusters.

Syllabus

Eight modules, in order.

Open a module to see what we cover. The syllabus may be tailored to the batch, and duration: ask us.

Moving around, files, permissions, users, processes, pipes and a short script. You finish able to live in a terminal.

Commits, branches, merges, pull requests and undoing safely. You finish with a repo you own.

Images, containers, Dockerfile, base images, ports, networks, volumes and Compose. You build and run an app.

Pipeline stages, Jenkins or GitHub Actions, artefacts, secrets and approvals. A pipeline runs on every push.

Pods, deployments, services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, rollouts and rollbacks.

Providers, resources, state, modules, plan and apply, and running it from a pipeline.

IAM, EC2, S3, VPC, load balancing basics and CloudWatch. You build a small setup you can explain.

Reading logs, finding the failing step and basic monitoring. You fix a broken run.

Online or offline

Pick the way you like to learn.

Both are live. Check the batch card for the mode before you enrol.

Online

Live on video from wherever you are.

  • Live class with a trainer, not a recording
  • Run each lab on your own machine
  • Ask questions as you work
  • Join from any city

Offline in Bangalore

In the room with the trainer and the batch.

  • Same labs and the same modules
  • Help at your desk when you are stuck
  • Learn alongside the rest of the batch
  • Ask us for the venue and timings

The labs are the same either way. Some batches run as a hybrid of both.
